Horbury Primary School

Pastoral Care, Guidance and Support

Horbury Primary School

Pupils are very well cared for and kept safe. Staff respond promptly if individuals need help. Pupils who have emotional, social and academic difficulties or other needs are supported exceptionally well, with other agencies consulted where necessary. Parents and carers praise the school for the helpful way it supports children and their families. OFSTED 2010.

Your child’s well being and happiness is of the utmost importance to us at Horbury Primary School. We have a Well Being Group in school, led by Miss Warne.  Mrs Tiffany, Miss Huntington and our School Nurses are also part of our group. The Well Being Group aim to promote the health and happiness of all the children and families within our school community. We are a point of contact for families, offering confidential support and advice during challenging times, such as, family separation, bereavement, divorce, health worries and so on.

We have a wide range of resources and outside agency contacts who we work very closely with. Please do not hesitate to make an appointment to see Miss Warne if you would like a confidential chat.

Health Directory

We have devised a list of contacts and phone numbers of organisations and agencies who are there to help you and your family. Phone Numbers highlighted in red are free of charge to call.
